About ABug
The Acorn & BBC Micro User Group (ABug, for short) was founded by members of the Stardot Forum – a vintage computing community that is dedicated to the range of computers produced by Acorn Computers (Cambridge, UK) between 1978 – 2000, which include the BBC Micro series, Acorn Electron, Acorn Atom, Archimedes and RISC PC.
ABug members have organised events across the UK and beyond since 2014 and beginning 2020, when the world was in lockdown, we introduced virtual events.
Thanks to the Zoom conferencing service, we are now able to record the talks and presentations that take place at our virtual events – and they are available to view both here on the abug.org.uk website as well as the Youtube channel belonging to the Centre for Computing History, Cambridge.
If you would like to participate in future ABug events, whether physical or virtual, you can reserve your place via the Upcoming Events section at Stardot.
